| The Board is responsible for licensing athletic trainers. The governor appoints five members: one licensed physician from a list by North Dakota Medical Association; three athletic trainers from a list by North Dakota Athletic Trainers Association; and one public member not licensed in any health care field. No member may serve for more than two successive four-year terms. |
