| The North Dakota Interagency Council on Homelessness brings together a broad representative group of knowledgeable individuals to address the issues of homelessness in North Dakota, with emphasis on ending chronic homelessness within 5 to 10 years. Members of the Council represent the office of the Governor, state agencies, cities, nonprofit organizations, and other appropriate parties. Council members will serve an initial term of two years. The chair or chairs of the Council will be appointed by the Governor. The Council will report annually to the Governor on progress in preventing and alleviating the incidence of homelessness in North Dakota, as well as make recommendations for executive and legislative action. The Council is entitled to the full cooperation of all state departments and agencies shall furnish information and any additional assistance as may be necessary and available to further the purpose of Executive Order #2004-09. | |||
