| The Board supervises and regulates the education and the practice of barbers. Included in its functions are examining, registering, and licensing of barbers and apprentices; prescribing sanitary regulations for barber schools and shops; inspecting, investigating and regulating supervision of schools and shops; requesting and reviewing reports from licensed barbers; and approving minimum price schedules. From the recommendations submitted by the North Dakota Barber's Association, the governor appoints three licensed barbers who have been practicing in the state for five years. |
