| This Commission researches information on the educational needs and resources and develops proposals for adequate financing of education at all levels. It formulates suggested policies and plans for the improvement of public education and make recommendations to government agencies and public officials. The purpose is to establish and maintain close cooperation and understanding among executive, legislative, professional educational, and lay leadership on a nationwide basis at the state and local levels. The North Dakota membership includes: two legislators; and four Governor's appointees. |
