| The Board reviews application s from prisoners of the North Dakota State Penitentiary and has the authority to place offenders in the community on parole status. The Board maintains jurisdiction over the offender while he or she is on parole. One member must have experience in law enforcement (i.e. prosecuting attorney); four members must be qualified by special experience, education, or training; and one must be a licensed attorney. | |||
