BISMARCK, N.D. – Governor Jack Dalrymple announced today that North Dakota has completed a major project to improve safety and traffic flow along US Highway 85, between Watford City and Williston.

The $43.6 million project marks the completion of North Dakota’s first “super 2 highway,” featuring passing lanes and turning lanes throughout a 40-mile stretch of the two-lane highway. Dalrymple led a ribbon-cutting ceremony in Watford City to celebrate the project’s completion.

BISMARCK, N.D. – Governor Jack Dalrymple announced today that construction of a pump-flow water outlet at East Devils Lake is on schedule to be completed in the spring of 2012.

‘This project is an important part of a larger, long-term strategy to begin lowering the lake’s level and to protect downstream interests,” Gov. Dalrymple said. 

BISMARCK, N.D. – Gov. Jack Dalrymple was in Minot today to help the community celebrate two new business expansions. United Pulse Trading announced that it will add a third North Dakota facility in Minot, which will be located at Minot’s Value-Added Agricultural Complex. Eid Passport held a ribbon cutting for its new technical support center, marking the company’s first location in the state.

BISMARCK, N.D. – Gov. Jack Dalrymple is encouraging North Dakotans to observe Veterans Day, November 11, by honoring the contributions of veterans and those currently serving at home and abroad through ceremonies and patriotic activities, and by displaying the American and North Dakota flags.
