Dalrymple, North Dakota Chamber Launch 2020 & Beyond 20-Year Development Plan Initiative

BISMARCK, N.D. – Gov. Jack Dalrymple, along with the North Dakota Chamber of Commerce, today launched 2020 & Beyond, a 20-year development plan that will build on the success of the state’s current strategic plan and advance North Dakota’s opportunities well into the future. The new initiative was outlined at news conferences in Minot and Fargo.

Governor, Congressional Delegation Develop New Plan to Fund Road Projects in Devils Lake Basin

BISMARCK, N.D. – Governor Jack Dalrymple, Sen. Kent Conrad, Sen. John Hoeven and Rep. Rick Berg, announced today they have developed a new plan to fund emergency road improvement projects in the Devils Lake Basin. Dalrymple also met with county commissioners and city officials from basin-area counties today to explain the plan and its benefits.

Dalrymple Requests Study of Lake Darling Dam

BISMARCK, N.D. - Gov. Jack Dalrymple today asked U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Director Dan Ashe to initiate an engineering study that would detail the implications of enlarging the Lake Darling Dam for increased water storage capacity. The dam is located upstream of Minot and other communities along the Mouse River.

Dalrymple Responds to Proposed Defense Budget Cuts

BISMARCK, N.D. – Governor Jack Dalrymple issued the following statement today in response to President Obama’s proposed defense budget cuts, which include eliminating the C-27J Spartan cargo aircraft program:

“I recognize and appreciate that the Defense Department and the U.S. Air Force have difficult choices to make with regard to future budgeting, but eliminating the C-27J Spartan cargo aircraft program doesn’t serve the best interests of the nation or North Dakota,” Dalrymple said.

Dalrymple Celebrates Launch of Mobile Dental Care Program for Children

BISMARCK, N.D. – Gov. Jack Dalrymple today attended a ribbon cutting event celebrating the launch of a new mobile dental care program for children in western North Dakota. The Ronald McDonald Care Mobile is a state-of-the-art dental clinic on wheels that will provide oral health care to low-income and underserved children with limited access to dental services. The 2009 North Dakota Legislature provided a $196,000 grant to fund the start-up expenses for the mobile dental clinic.

Dalrymple Celebrates BNSF Expansion in Minot

BISMARCK, N.D. – Governor Jack Dalrymple today joined local officials in celebrating the completion of BNSF’s new railcar service facility and two inspection tracks at the company’s Minot railway yard.

Dalrymple Joins Bridger Pipeline in Celebrating Commissioning of New Four Bears Pipeline

BISMARCK, N.D. – Gov. Jack Dalrymple today joined federal, state and local officials, industry leaders and landowners in celebrating the commissioning of Bridger Pipeline’s new Four Bears Pipeline in western North Dakota. Four Bears will increase the state’s intrastate pipeline capacity, while significantly reducing the number of trucks on the region’s roadways.

Dalrymple Applauds ONEOK Partners on Completion of the Garden Creek Gas Plant

BISMARCK, N.D. – Gov. Jack Dalrymple today congratulated ONEOK Partners on its completion of North Dakota’s latest natural gas processing plant. The ONEOK Garden Creek Gas Plant, located about 10 miles northeast of Watford City, can process 100 million cubic feet of natural gas per day.

Dalrymple Pleased with Federal Funding for Flood Recovery Efforts

BISMARCK, N.D. – Gov. Jack Dalrymple today said he is pleased that North Dakota will receive nearly $80 million in federal funding to help North Dakota cover the costs of flood damages in Ward County and other areas of the state.
