Job Service North Dakota Wins Awards For Performance
BISMARCK, N.D. - Governor John Hoeven today announced that Job Service North Dakota recently won three awards recognizing the agency’s superior performance in managing the State’s unemployment insurance program.
“These awards reflect well on both our employers and Job Service,” Hoeven said. “This recognition demonstrates that our employers are conscientious about their responsibilities paying Unemployment Insurance taxes and Job Service’s focus to deliver excellent customer service.”
The awards were made by the federal Department of Labor for an 11-State region including North Dakota. The awards were for Best Overall Program in Unemployment Insurance (UI) tax administration; Best Overall Program in UI benefits administration; and Most Improved Program in UI tax administration.
The awards were received by agency staff at a regional meeting in Dallas in late June. States in the region are: North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana.
