Statement Of Governor John Hoeven On The Death Of Anne Carlsen
BISMARCK, N.D. - Gov. John Hoeven today issued the following statement on the death of Anne Carlsen:
“Anne was born with a handicap that might have defeated anyone with less strength and compassion. Instead she turned it to great good for so many people. North Dakota is proud that she worked among us and improved the lives of so many. The Anne Carlsen Center for Children will serve as a lasting memorial to her life and her work. Our condolences to her many friends, and especially to those whose lives she so profoundly touched.”
