Career Description




Coordinate efforts with the Juvenile Corrections Specialist (JCS) to ensure the appropriate paperwork is completed and/or entered into computer systems accurately and timely and on each assigned youth, while maintaining youth files, JCS schedules, office inventory and information required by foster care programs.

Duties and Tasks

*Process paperwork for the JCS within the Division of Juvenile Services.*Receptionist duties: greet clients, visitors and the general public. Answer all incoming calls, take messages, answer questions, or redirect calls.*Computer: Maintain Electronic Case Files*Manage the distribution and receipt of relevant documents*Office Management: Maintain office supplies and manage inventories.

Minimum Qualifications

Requires and associate degree with major coursework in office support or business or office education and one year of work experience performing a variety of office supports, clerical, or secretarial work. Additional work experience performing office support, clerical or secretarial duties may substitute for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis. Proficiency in keyboarding, specific software, personal computer, grammar, and/or spelling skills may be required.
