BISMARCK, N.D. – Gov. Doug Burgum will deliver his 2020 State of the State address at 10:30 a.m. Jan. 29 at the Chester Fritz Auditorium on the University of North Dakota campus in Grand Forks.
Members of the media are asked to wear a media pass if covering the address. To receive a pass, please visit the Governor’s Office on the first floor of the Capitol or contact Amra Hickel at ahickel@nd.gov to register for a pass that can be picked up at the Chester Fritz Auditorium on the day of the address. The State of the State address – Burgum’s fourth since taking office Dec. 15, 2016 – will be livestreamed at www.governor.nd.gov. Burgum delivered the address at the Capitol in 2017 and 2019 and at Minot State University in 2018. Lt. Gov. Brent Sanford also will attend the address in Grand Forks and deliver welcome remarks.
