What: North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum and Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring will host a town hall meeting Tuesday with farmers, ranchers and other area residents in Carson to discuss the challenges created by worsening drought conditions, review the state’s response and answer questions. More than half of the state is in extreme or severe drought, including almost all of western North Dakota, according to the latest U.S. Drought Monitor.
The meeting is open to the public.
