BISMARCK, N.D. – Gov. Doug Burgum on Tuesday will join U.S. Secretary of the Interior Ryan Zinke as his visits Theodore Roosevelt National Park to review and discuss the park’s deferred maintenance backlog.

Burgum has met with Zinke several times during the governor’s first 18 months in office, inviting the former Montana congressman to visit North Dakota and Theodore Roosevelt National Park, which is managed by the National Park Service overseen by Zinke.

Burgum also will deliver remarks to the Williston Basin Petroleum Conference at 8:15 a.m. Wednesday at the Bismarck Event Center before Zinke delivers the event’s keynote address.
