BISMARCK, N.D. – Gov. Doug Burgum on Saturday will kick off the second day of the 2018 Fargo AirSho by skydiving with the U.S. Navy Parachute Team, nicknamed the Leap Frogs. Immediately after landing, the governor will deliver welcoming remarks to attendees of the AirSho at Hector International Airport.
“The Fargo AirSho is a fantastic, volunteer-driven event that has contributed more than half a million dollars for area organizations over the past 25 years, and we’re pleased to be able to help promote and celebrate the show,” Burgum said. “Skydiving with the Leap Frogs will be a thrill and a great opportunity to highlight the professionalism of the U.S. Navy and all of our Armed Services members who bravely serve our country and defend our freedoms.”
Burgum is scheduled to jump with the Leap Frogs at about 11 a.m. July 28.
