BISMARCK, N.D. – Gov. Doug Burgum will tour the FM Area Diversion project and meet with members of the Metro Flood Diversion Authority Board, city officials, legislators and others on Wednesday in Fargo.

In 2021, the state of North Dakota added to its major commitment to the diversion project when the Legislature and the governor approved $435.5 million in bonding that increased the state’s total pledge to $850 million.

What: Meeting with MFDA Board of Authority and others, followed by diversion tour
