BISMARCK, N.D. – Gov. Doug Burgum will visit with students, faculty, staff, administrators and others at Valley City State University and Mayville State University on Tuesday, Oct. 9.
The visits are part of the governor’s pledge to tour all 11 public colleges and universities in North Dakota in 2018, as announced during his State of the State Address in January at Minot State University.
At Valley City State, Burgum will spend the morning touring the campus and meeting with Interim President Margaret Dahlberg, senior leadership, faculty, staff and students.
In the afternoon, the governor will tour the Mayville State campus, meet with President Brian Van Horn, local legislators and supporters of the university, and have dinner with students.
