FARGO, N.D. – The Fargo-Moorhead Area Flood Diversion Task Force appointed by North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum and Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton will meet for the first time Monday, Oct. 23, at the Fargodome.
The meeting will take place from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in Room 203 of the Fargodome, 1800 N. University Dr., Fargo, ND 58102. The meeting agenda is listed below.
Burgum and Dayton appointed 16 members to the Task Force last week to develop design principles and concept-level engineering solutions to achieve balanced flood risk management for the Fargo-Moorhead region, including upstream, downstream, and metro-area communities and properties. The governors will co-chair the Task Force.
