BISMARCK, N.D. – Gov. Doug Burgum and First Lady Kathryn Burgum will join officials from Cankdeska Cikana Community College and the United Health Foundation along with tribal leaders from the Spirit Lake Nation for a grand opening ceremony Tuesday, Aug. 6, for a new residential substance abuse treatment center for adults.
The governor and first lady will deliver remarks celebrating the completion of the Spirit Lake Recovery and Wellness Center in Fort Totten, which will be the only residential treatment facility in the area accessible to those outside the local law enforcement system.
