North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum, Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring and other state officials will hold a town hall meeting with ranchers, farmers and area residents Wednesday in Golden Valley, N.D., to discuss the significant challenges posed by extreme drought conditions and wildfires, as well as the state’s response to both. Officials also will unveil additional steps being taken to provide relief to livestock producers.

Governor Doug Burgum and First Lady Kathryn Helgaas Burgum are hosting Recovery Reinvented on September 26, 2017 in Bismarck, North Dakota. The daylong event will feature facilitated conversations with state and national recovery experts to discuss how we can “reinvent recovery” through innovative implementation in North Dakota.

Gov. Doug Burgum is inviting teachers, students, education advocates, innovators and community leaders to participate in North Dakota’s first Governor’s Summit on Innovative Education next month in Bismarck. The daylong summit will take place June 8 at Legacy High School in collaboration with the North Dakota Department of Public Instruction and the North Dakota University System. BISMARCK, N.D. (May 16, 2017) -The Justice Reinvestment Oversight Committee will meet at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2017, in the Governor's Conference Room on the first floor of the State Capitol. 

Gov. Doug Burgum will speak at North Dakota State University’s commencement ceremonies on Saturday at the Fargodome.

BISMARCK, N.D. – Gov. Doug Burgum has signed Senate Bill 2135 and is now seeking applicants for the Initiated and Referred Measure Study Commission created by the legislation.

The Governor's Official Band for 2016-17, the Williston High School Wind Ensemble, will perform in the Capitol's Legislative Hall from noon to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 5. 

North Dakota launches ND Response as a permanent, one-stop shop for North Dakota residents and the media to find information about the state's response during major events and natural disasters.

Governor Burgum will be sworn in and give his State of the State Address beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Jan. 3, 2017, in the House of Representatives chamber at the State Capitol in Bismarck, followed by a reception in Memorial Hall. Chamber doors open to the public at 12:30 p.m.
