Gov. Doug Burgum has signed an executive order extending an hours of service waiver for drivers of commercial vehicles transporting propane until Feb. 28 and adding haulers of diesel fuel and gasoline to those covered by the waiver.

 Gov. Doug Burgum said he is willing to consider granting waivers on a case-by-case basis for school districts that have canceled school because of severe winter storms and dangerously cold temperatures in recent weeks, provided certain criteria are met.
